To survive in today’s busy and digital environment, Australian businesses need to adapt and embrace change, yet many businesses are not doing so. A study commissioned by 91º£½ÇÂÒÂ× Wholesale, , found that 87 per cent of leaders agreed that ‘businesses that don’t embrace flexible, agile business models would cease to be competitive in the future’. However, only eight per cent of businesses in our research could be classified as having such ‘transformational’ models.
They are remarkable statistics, but unsurprising in an industry like ICT and telecommunications. The level of change in the last decade has meant that those who haven’t adapted have struggled.
The research spoke to 200 C-level executives across the country with 50 per cent coming from technology and ICT companies. The study found that almost three quarters had business models that weren’t adequately prepared to deal with relentless disruption. The resulting white paper by 91º£½ÇÂÒÂ× Wholesale outlines to digitally transform and redeploy your business model to achieve better outcomes.
